About NeoGeoSeo
NeoGeoSeo is a browser extension that scores any web page for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — how likely AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude are to cite the page, and why. One click gives you an overall score (0–100), a breakdown across 10 research-based criteria, your top strength and weakness, and a concrete quick-win. The scoring framework is derived from the Princeton / IIT Delhi GEO research (KDD ’24).
Before you start: you’ll need an Anthropic API key
NeoGeoSeo runs the analysis through Anthropic’s Claude models, so it requires your own Anthropic API key — keeping usage private and billed directly to you, with no middleman server.
- Create a key at console.anthropic.com/settings/keys.
- Open NeoGeoSeo, click Set Key, paste, save.
Each assessment is ~4k–6k tokens — about $0.02–$0.04 per page, billed by Anthropic.
How to use it
- Open the page, click the NeoGeoSeo toolbar icon (URL auto-fills; on iOS, paste it).
- Click Assess.
- Review the score, breakdown, strength/weakness, and quick-win. History saves locally.
