From the ol’ Insta. Test assembly complete! And welded where needed for (hopefully) easy installation and deinstallation from the playa. Still need to paint the inserts, and carve one, but the physical parts are basically set to go. Next up: power, LEDs, and LED programming. #sculpture #weekendwarrior #burningmanart

From the ol’ Insta. Victory 🙂 Moving forward step by step through leaning to work with LEDs, as the next phase of the sculpture. So from large metal work of wings to small metalwork of soldering wires. 🙂 Also estimating power usage to see what battery support will be needed for the playa and elsewhere. Still to do: CNC carving and painting the figures, and assembling the sculpture. Sometimes progress is asynchronous. Always it’s great to learn and do. Thanks to Sri @upside_sf for info and feedback. #sculpture #burningmanart #pixelblaze #ledlights #doit

From the ol’ Insta. Solo work today. Final polishing and putting on clearcoat. I decided not to paint it any other color, it just looked so great in shiny steel. It’s definitely not thankless work. I’m thankful. It’s all looking so great, as a foundation for further stuff yet to come for the peace. I’m so grateful for all the people who are helping me along. #burningmanart #welding #sculpture
